An A4 plastic, see-through box (yes, it will take A4 paper (a ream or more in fact!) with drop-on lid) )  Ideal for many craft items including all your encaustic waxes etc!

If the lid is right down, there's a full 2 inches depth INSIDE.
The good thing is though, that the lid is just as deep as the box, so you could actually put nearly 4" depth of papers in and the lid would still just overlap the sides of the box to hold it all together.

Alternatively, you can use both sections as open boxes for A4-size things and they're both about 2 inches (5 cm) deep.
