Why doesn't Wakes Waxes accept payments by card etc?

By not doing so, I can offer you better prices, greater range AND free post (or £1 at the most).  Processing cards (or using Paypal etc) means paying a considerable cut to the banks etc.  

A lot of people find it surprising that I don't process plastic cards and generally object to Paypal etc.    One day, I'll have to, I suppose.  If my policy has put you off ordering, an email to barry@waxes.co.uk to say so would be appreciated but please read on..............

Our normal postage & packing is usually free but if you want us to use Special Delivery (next working day by 1pm to most of UK), you need to ring me (Barry) on 01787 227320 to sort out a price (it'll be £3 to £4 extra, probably).  We only accept payment by cheque or Postal Order (or cash but use recorded delivery for any cash sent by post) but I'm usually prepared to send items immediately, even to new customers, and trust that you will pay within a few days by cheque etc.
