I use the Royal Mail for nearly all
deliveries. I usually manage to dispatch orders within
24 hours of receipt.
Obviously, if you require something before
a special date (such as Christmas), please try to order in
good time. I'll be here most of the time right
through the Christmas period so you
can still order or ask for advice by phone (not Christmas
day please!) fax or email.
For 2011, please try to get your Christmas
orders here by 17th December by post; after that date, you
ought to ring me and I'll process your order by phone.
I think the last posting date for me to use 1st class for
delivery to you is Tuesday 20th,
December.
Our normal postage &
packing is usually free but if you want us to use Special
Delivery, you need to ring me (Barry) on 01787 227320 to
sort out a price (it'll be £3.00 to £4 extra on most
orders but can be a lot more depending on weight).
We only accept payment by cheque or direct into our bank account but I'm prepared to send items
immediately, even to new customers (if they ring me), and trust that you will
pay within a few days by cheque.. The preferred method (away from
Christmas) is, of course, for
payment to arrive with order as that makes my life simpler!
Alternatively, you can pay direct into my bank account
online if you have online banking. All these
methods are free for me to accept so, by me not paying the
banks any processing charges, YOU get a better price and
usually FREE delivery!
If you want the parcel to arrive
anonymously, please ask and I'll try to remember to leave off the return
address label that would normally be on the package.
Please forgive me if my poor old brain forgets.
I keep large stocks of most things on the
order form and orders usually seem to arrive in such a way
that I can manage to process nearly every one (and get it on
it's way) the same day that it arrives even as we approach
Christmas. If you don't
hear anything within a few days of sending your order, then
something has almost certainly got lost in the post and you
should contact me; having said that, we do close for one
week (not in the 2 months before Christmas though) in the year
for our annual holiday!
I have large supplies of almost
everything on our list. As far as I
can foresee, we'll only be completely closed on Christmas
day. On all the other days around Christmas, your
emails, phone calls, orders etc should receive a response of
some sort within 24 hours. |
